About Me

I am a technology executive leading organizations into their ‘What’s Next?’

I am a leader who is fascinated by the future. I most recently served as Chief Data Officer for the Girl Scouts — and yet, while I am passionate about the power of technology to unlock possibilities for mission-driven organizations, my underlying passion is for shaping what’s next. I am able to see patterns and possibilities where others see only paralyzing complexity, and to paint a vision for the future that energizes and engages people, raising their sights and thereby their spirits.

I am currently advising major non-profit organizations on data and technology strategies and roadmaps, digital transformation, advanced analytics, system design, organizational design, and related areas. If you’re exploring what’s next for your organization, and need a leader with my background to help you map the future, I’d love to talk.

  • As a Leader

I am deeply committed to equity and inclusion and these values inform every aspect of my leadership and work; I instinctively build bridges between people with different backgrounds, work styles, and strengths. Agile and decisive, I reassure others in times of crisis. I strive for excellence and inspire others to do the same.

  • As a Manager

I have a track record of creating powerful and productive teams that celebrate and cultivate each individual’s unique talents and strengths. By seeing what each person naturally does best and empowering them to do it, I make individuals, teams, and groups better. I help teams understand how their work is important, and how their efforts fit into the bigger picture.

  • As a Colleague

My authenticity allows me to build close, long-lasting connections that foster trust and confidence and build effective win-win partnerships. As a creative and innovative thinker, others frequently rely on me to generate fresh ideas and to help them brainstorm new business strategies.

Prior to serving as the Girl Scouts of the USA’s first Chief Data Officer, I led fundraising data, analytics and technology efforts for Robin Hood Foundation, a New York City-based organization dedicated to fighting poverty. While there I introduced an anonymous bidding system that allowed the organization to raise $78.8M in one evening at the height of an economic recession. Before that, I led the second largest prospect research and analytics team in the United States, supporting Yale University’s $3.8B capital campaign.

Like so many women, I pivoted at the start of the pandemic to lean into my role as caregiver. In my case, in addition to co-parenting an elementary-school-aged son, I stepped in to provide end of life care for my elderly parents.

I live in Brooklyn with my husband, who is a writer, and my ten-year-old son, who wishes he were a cat.
